Here is some exploration I’m doing for my “new” brand identity.
Playing dress up while waiting patiently for Spring time…
Here is a simple skinny margarita recipe! It’s also completely natural - get yourself a clean silver tequila, squeeze your own lime and orange juice, and pick a nice agave syrup for sweetener. It’s that easy!
This can even be made non-alchoholic if you replace the tequila with orange juice and a little water. Truly a refreshing beverage for anybody — like me — who loves a chilled, citrus-y drink under the warm summer sun.
Nothing beats homemade coffee. I love decorating my kitchen so it feels light and homey- no need to go out to coffee shops anymore when my house is one of the best around!
Machine is by Rocket Espresso! Our favorite espresso is Epic Espresso by 49th Parallel.
Oh darling, you’re worth more than gold.
I made these for everyone. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!
The weather was so beautiful on this day and I had some errands to run so I decided to dress up a little and enjoy it. A quick stop for some photos and then I was off to work!

I just turned 24. Here are some of the photos I posted on Instagram that captured me in this year.
I if survived 23 I think 24 will be AMAZING.
Also if your birthday and national coffee day coincide, there are no cup limits on that day ;)
Is it for hamsters? A parakeet? Or my essentials? This fun cage bag is a great night-out accessory and I’d like to think it’s super protective - ain’t no one going to be able to rip this from me or cut it open! From Etsy.
Fall came to Dallas. I got a pumpkin and snagged this breezy top from LOFT on major sale! Also I sketched……this post is just a general update, haha!
Some call it manifestation; I call it perspective. Being positive is a super power that gets stronger with use. Although it is often difficult to see the glass half-full, it is pivotal to a healthy outlook on life! This is me reminding myself and everyone around me that finding the good, seeking the joy, and remembering the big picture can give peace and calm to those caught in the stress and chaos of the everyday.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Remember this: there is more. You are loved. The sun will rise again.
Feel free to download these and use as phone backgrounds!
Aren't you glad that fall is coming? I am, but I'm savoring every last second of summer. This is one for the books because I not only got a dream job and entered a career I've pursued for 10 years, but I also got to work with my husband and spend a lot of time with him. We have a big trip coming up and then hopefully the rest of this year will be calm and full of creative ventures <3
Comment below and let me know what trips and projects you are looking forward to! :)
This color is therapeutic to me. Who else loves turquoise? Also, I'm craving a beach right now, so here are two photos of each coast haha.
Featuring one of my favorite Spell & the Gypsy sets which is from 2017 <3
Casual looks are my favorite, hands down. Nothing is better than perfectly-distressed and fitted jeans with a favorite white button up (button down? I never know which one it is). I've been exploring some fashion and jewelry designs and may begin tiny batch releases of things. For now, I'll stick to illustrating the ideas I have. This was a "warm up" that I did after work. My day job is as a production artist for a feature length animated film being made here in Dallas. Transitioning from that style is a little difficult. For this piece I was inspired by Tadahiro Eusugi. I love the way his illustrations incorporate story telling, light, color, fashion, and texture. I can look at his work for hours.
This top from Amuse Society is a DREAM. I'm obsessed with this brand!
Okay, the LBD has its place. But in summer I believe it's all about the LWD: the Long White Dress.
Here are some photos of my favorite LWD of this year. I got mine for $60 from Shop Olive + Pepper.
